FREE DOWNLOAD: Teaching Outline
By Teri Beane
My heart is so full it feels as though it will bust through it’s seams. The Lord has downloaded a theme and devotion topics for the entire year into this heart of mine, and I can’t wait to share it all with you. The theme for the year is She Rises. I truly believe we are in a season in which God is calling forth Esthers- women equipped and willing to rise above their fears and comfort to impact the world around them. Think about it, we each have a sphere of influence. Some have large circles and others small, but all of us have an audience. Whether it be our family, neighbors, co-workers, church family, or the barista at our favorite coffee shop, we have opportunities to drop gospel seeds into the soil of their hearts.
We are living in a tumultuous time in our nation. Many are hurting, troubled, and afraid. If there has ever been a time to get serious about knowing what we believe and why we believe, it is now! We need be deeply rooted in the Word of God, walk close to Him, hear His voice, and share what we learn with others. It’s time to rise! I want to challenge you to take ownership of the territory God has entrusted to you and be intentional with your voice and influence.
I mentioned God gave me a devotion topic for each month of the year. It’s interesting, every one of the words he gave me is a verb, an action word. Each month we (thebeingremadelife.com) will focus on one of those words which will serve as a stepping stone to help us become women who rise. Every week we will post a video discussion on our blog. Three of the weeks will include teaching on the subject and one week we will talk about a spiritual discipline related to the topic that will help us grow. Cherry and I hope you will join us on this journey of spiritual growth and development.
This month our action word is engaged. We will be sharing ideas on how we can be fully engaged in what God is doing in this hour. Above, you will find our first video in the She Rises series. Cherry and I are brand spanking new at shooting and editing videos. We made some mistakes in our first attempt and I’m sure we will make more as we go along. But we learned some things and hopefully we will get better every week. So extend grace to us as we learn, grow, and get more comfortable behind the camera. We look forward to rising alongside you as we grow and bloom together!
